Fruit and yogurt is a delicious combination. These fruit-yogurt coolers are a tasty and convenient way to get some fruit and dairy: two of the food groups from the Food Guide Pyramid. And, its a versatile recipe too: have it for breakfast, a snack or even with a sandwich for lunch. The orange juice provides important vitamin C, which we need every day, and the yogurt contains calcium and other bone-building nutrients. This is a low-fat recipe too, since it has less than 3 grams of fat per serving. Its important to keep overall fat intake at a moderate level, so including low-fat foods is a smart thing to do. |
